Burrill Lake man had $40k believed to be from the proceeds of crime
A Burrill Lake man who police say had almost $40,000 from the proceeds of crime, has escaped a jail sentence.

In Milton Local Court, Peter Clark, 62, pleaded guilty to supplying and cultivating a prohibited drug, cannabis, and dealing with property the proceeds of crime.
Police said Clark was found with almost $40,000 believed to be the proceeds of crime.
Magistrate Gabriel Flemiong placed Clark on an 18-month community corrections order, meaning he can serve his sentence within the community.
She also fined him $2000.
