Given the number of people who head up to the shop to get a good book or two to read and you can see why the bookshop is running short.
They sell at least 100 books a day and by 1pm on Thursday (June 13) the tally had hit triple figures with more sales expected.
The bookshop volunteers have been keeping a close look at how many books are coming in and going out.
"This is the first time in six years that we are running short of books," volunteer Shirley Muller said.
So if you have any books to spare please take them the bookshop in the Bellbrook Arcade and donate them.
All books - fiction or non-fiction - are needed and they would also like more children's books.
One request they have is for the books to be in a reasonably clean condition.
The shop would also like donations of DVDs and CDs.
"We can never get enough DVDs or CDs," volunteer Jann Wayland said.
So take a look around your home, grabs some books you no longer read, stick in some CDs or DVDs and donate them to the bookshop.
The Ulladulla-Milton Lions Club's Preloved Bookshop is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 4.30 and Saturday from 8.30 to 12.30pm.
Funds raised from the bookshop were used to establish Jindelara Disability Respite House.
The Lions Club is now planning its next exciting community project.
