An additional night's work to complete resurfacing of the highway between Green and Deering streets is required after wet weather delayed the work which was carried out earlier this month.
Works will be undertaken between 7pm and 5am for one night on Sunday 23 June, weather permitting.
On street parking on the Princes Highway will be affected during work hours, however, residents and business owners will have access to their properties at all times and pedestrian access will be maintained.
For the safety of motorists and workers, the Princes Highway between Green and Deering streets will be closed to traffic during work hours. A detour will be in place via Green, St Vincent and Deering streets.
Traffic control and a reduced speed limit of 40 km/h will also be in place during work hours and may affect travel times by up to five minutes.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the direction of signs and traffic control.
