On May 30 the Bureau of Meteorology released its winter outlook which predicted the next three months were likely to be warmer and drier than average for large parts of the nation.

Level One water restrictions will be brought into place if the supply at Bamarang Dam reduces to 60 per cent.
As of June 25 water flow was at 252 million litres, if it drops below 90 million litres Shoalhaven Water will stop pumping from rivers and rely solely on storage supplies.
