Hayden Bridger has embraced NAIDOC Week by offering five new varieties at Hayden's Pies. From Monday, July 8 until Sunday, July 14 the varieties include kangaroo, crocodile, emu, barramundi and wallaby pies.
Mr Bridger has combined bush tucker ingredients - quandong and Illawarra plum - with emu and kangaroo pies.
"I'm trying to use a few Indigenous ingredients," he said.
"This is a great learning experience for me - I've never used these ingredients, it's good fun playing around with different flavours."
Inside the store Aboriginal artwork by Leanne Brook will be featured and a slideshow with keywords about the area and history will be displayed.
Mr Bridger said he was looking forward to attending Friday's Ngulla Festival at the Ulladulla Civic Centre.
"I'll be going down to check it out and hang out," he said.
"Learning about community, it was such a great feel down there."
