Following community outrage over a new block with extra lots, proponents have scaled back their development footprint at a proposed subdivision in Manyana.

At a public meeting held in April, more than 150 people voted unanimously against the new proposed development footprint for the Inyadda Drive, formerly Kylor, development.
On July 5, an update on Shoalhaven City Council Inyadda Drive Planning Proposal's website stated the proponents of the development had considered community feedback and submitted a new footprint for the rezoning.
The new footprint removed the development area in the north-east of the block and returns it to conservation area.
"The new footprint is very similar to the original investigation footprint adopted by council in January 2014 (and that obtained a Gateway determination from the NSW Department of Planning in June 2015), while also responding to their biodiversity assessment work," a council spokesperson said.
"Council will be working with the proponents to complete the studies, as required by the Gateway determination, to ultimately enable the Planning Proposal and supporting documents to be formally exhibited."
In a letter to council following the public meeting, the Red Head Villages Association said it accepted a previous proposal.
"Current residents and land owners believe we are at an environmental tipping point and are actually opposed to any further development at all. But as decisions have been made, we accept the previously approved footprint and would only be too delighted if it was as sustainable," secretary Jorj Lowrey wrote.
"The meeting attendees voted unanimously against the new proposed footprint and for the previous PP (Planning Proposal), if a footprint must be had."
Shoalhaven City Council had extended the window for community feedback on a revised subdivision layout proposal it received in February. More than 400 responses to the community survey were received.
