Meanwhile, it's easy to see why a regional-level skatepark facility is needed in Ulladulla.
The old skate park was full of activity last week, like most days of the holidays, which created a dangerous situation.
A group of skateboard riders were using the carpark - not the skatepark.
A bigger and better facility, according to a group of local youths, is needed and then they would not have to use the carpark
They say the bigger facility will have space for everyone to use and a better skatepark will give locals the chance to progress up the skating ranks.
The youths added a better facility would mean Ulladulla could host major events.
The good news is that Shoalhaven City Council unanimously supported recommendations to develop a funding plan and concept and detailed design of a regional standard facility at its assets and strategy meeting in October last year.
