"I implore many of the men in this chamber who have moved amendments to stop dabbling in the lives of women," Ms Hancock said.
"Stay out of the lives of women. There are no complications in this bill. None."
Attorney-General Mark Speakman and Planning Minister Rob Stokes drafted the amendments to a bill to decriminalise abortion in NSW.
The amendments include a requirement for women seeking a termination after 22 weeks to obtain approval from a hospital advisory committee of at least four members.
They would also restrict who was able to perform late-term abortions to obstetricians or a medical practitioner with "appropriate additional expertise", except in the case of an emergency.
Ms Hancock said MPs should do what they think is right, not what they think will get them votes.
"We all want to have our electorates voting for us ... but sometimes you have to do what you know is right," she said.
"I implore all members to speak against the foreshadowed amendments that are designed to defeat and defer this bill."
She said she would consider "sensible amendments" but not those "designed to defeat and defer this bill".
