Brazillian Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art similar to wrestling, where competitors attempt to submit each other by applying joint locks or chokes.
The diminutive athlete spent an hour demonstrating her skills to instructor Richard Kemp, before a gruelling 30-minute sparring session on Saturday, August 10.
Fresh opponents were rotated in and out, giving Morag no opportunity to rest.
Morag has been training since April of 2016 at Southern Fitness and Martial Arts.
She said the physical challenge of the grading made the achievement extra special.
"It was tough but rewarding," she said.
"It was definitely physically and mentally challenging, but a great experience all round with everyone encouraging me."
Richard, who conducted the grading, congratulated Morag on her achievement.
