Elise Woodcock completed 2019 City2Surf in 1 hour 53 minutes and 29 seconds with her friend Jo Telenta and physiotherapist from Liverpool Brain Injury Unit John Nguyen on Sunday.
In March, 2018 Elise was found by a Bunnings delivery driver, after she veered off a notorious stretch of the Kings Highway, about one kilometre west of the Northangera Road intersection, east of Braidwood.
The mother-of-three suffered a fractured skull, fractured pelvis, fractured ribs, right leg fracture, a bleed on the brain and five lung clots.
Following almost 18 months of rehabilitation Elise, who has ongoing double vision and shoulder pain, was rapt to complete the City2Surf.
"It all ended up alright in the end and I was thrilled to bits with our timing," she said.
"Maybe thinking of doing a half marathon further down the line."
