Danny Squires, 35, pleaded guilty to two common assault charges and failure to leave a licensed premises when required to do.
On July 19 about 9.20pm Squires tried to enter the Marlin Hotel via the front door, according to facts tendered to Milton Local Court. He was refused entry by security because he was intoxicated.
Squires was verbally aggressive towards security staff and swore while directed a racist remark to one of the guards. He walked towards the security staff who then restrained him.
He complained of a sore back and security helped him to his feet. As he stood up he continued his tirade.
Squires then spat in a staff member's face with saliva "going all over" the victim's face.
The hotel's licensee went out front and watched the confrontation. He contacted police and went to the office to get a body cam recorder.
He told Squires everything was being recorded by the camera. Squires then spat over security officer's shoulder and his spit hit the second victim in his chest and hand.
Police arrived and saw Squires was "well intoxicated", stumbling and slurring his words.
He was arrested and taken to Ulladulla Police Station.
Squires will be sentenced on September 26 at Milton Local Court.
