On Thursday, August 15, Christopher Raymond Halliday pleaded not guilty to possession of prohibited drugs, possessing unregistered firearm, keeping a firearm safely and two charges possessing or using a prohibited weapon without permit.
According to charge sheets tendered to the court police allege Halliday was in possession of 476 grams of cannabis leaf on May 20, 2019 at Woodburn.
Police will also allege he did not take all reasonable precautions to ensure that a firearm was safely kept, did possess an unregistered lever action Winchester rifle, had three knives in his possession without a permit and did possess a homemade silencer without being authorised by a permit.
Halliday will next appear Milton Local Court on September 26.
