The team has been training hard with coach Kev in preparation for their next big matches.
This weekend they will travel to Sydney for the semi-finals and finals of the PSSA Victor J Kelly Knockout tournament.
The matches are scheduled for Monday, August 26, at the Homebush Tennis Centre at Sydney Olympic Park. We wish them lots of luck and great tennis on what is sure to be an exciting day.

Results from the third round on August 13 were: Division 1 - Loves defeated Dickson 3 sets all 34 games to 30. Mennie defeated Rejc 5 sets to 1. Maureen and Hilary won their 4 sets. Stiller defeated Farmilo 3 sets all 25 games to 23.
Division 2 - Hargreaves defeated Rutherford 4 sets to 2. Dunn defeated Clough 5 sets to 1. Mel won her 4 sets. Potts defeated Rasmussen 5 sets to 1. Suzi won her 4 sets.
After these matches the team pointscores were: Division 1 - Farmilo and Stiller 21, Mennie 20, Loves 15, Dickson 14, Team Rejc 5. Division 2 - Dunn 21, Clough 19, Potts 18, Rutherford 13, Hargreaves 11, Donohue 10, Rasmussen 4.

Seniors Tournament Norfolk Island
Next year is the 30th anniversary of the Norfolk Island Veterans Tennis Tournament which local members have attended in previous years and really enjoyed.

It is a five-day tournament of doubles matches in age divisions which can be combined with a holiday on the picturesque Island offering many sight-seeing activities, historical tours, sporting, social and water activities in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
