The labour of love, constructed by the members, will be showcased on Saturday, September 7 with the official ribbon cutting to begin at 2pm.
For the past 15 months members have been fitting out the new premises next to the SES Unit's centre on Camden Street after years of looking for a site to relocate.
The mental and physical well-being of the 75 members will be enhanced by the vast array of space, tools and work stations. The 31 by 16 metre shed features a display room, metal working room, workshop, lathe area, picture framing area, library/lounge and large outside area with six garden beds.
Grants, local donors and the group's fundraising efforts have contributed to the works.
More than $200,000 in grants have made the construction possible including major contributors include the Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation, NSW Government through Community Building Partnerships and the Veolia Mulwaree Trust and community organisations.
Many Milton-Ulladulla businesses have also donated equipment and resources for the construction and fit-out, Milton Ulladulla Men's Shed president Tim Jamison said. The generosity of each of these donors will be recognised with plaques placed inside the shed.
Project manager Bruce Heather was instrumental in ensuring the shed is constructed to rigid standards.
"The guys built this themselves," Mr Jamison said.
