Ben Trent, 22, who is facing a number of charges for a variety of offences, was refused bail in Nowra Local Court by registrar Craig Cockburn.
Court papers said Trent was arrested by police around 8pm on April 29 this year at the Ulladulla address of his former partner.
Court papers show Trent is already facing numerous charges after alleged incidents in relation to the woman.
Officers found Trent hiding behind a shed in the backyard.
He allegedly abused police, telling them not to touch him and pulled away from arresting officers and attempted to jump a nearby fence to escape.
As officers tried to get him down off the fence his shirt was ripped and court papers said Trent became aggressive towards police, threatening them not "to touch him in front of his son or girl".
Court papers said as he was being walked down the side of the home he pulled away from police and ran towards the back of the property and again tried to jump the fence.
Police arrested him again and said they were forced to use a number "leg strokes" to detain him.
As he was being taken to the waiting police vehicle, he pulled away from officers and again made a run for it, this time into the house, slamming the door in officers' faces.
He ran out the front of the home again slamming a door on police and ran towards the nearby Princes Highway.
One of the officers was injured in the incident.
He has pleaded not guilty to resisting arrest and escaping police custody.
Trent had previously pleaded guilty to stalking, common assault and assault occasioning actual bodily harm following an incident with his former partner in Ulladulla between 2pm and 2.30pm on November 1 last year.
Court papers said the couple had separated months previously.
Trent went to the woman's house, where an argument broke out.
Trent, according to court documents, "got in the woman's face" before grabbing her and yelling at her.
The court was told Trent then picked up a packet of Huggies nappies and threw them at the woman, hitting her in the back of the head.
All of this was allegedly happening in front of their young son.
Police said the woman picked up the boy went into the bedroom but Trent followed, pushing her onto the bed.
The victim grabbed metal pole and threw it at Trent which missed.
Trent then picked the woman up and said "don't be stupid, your son is watching".
The woman managed to leave the house and Trent, a learner driver, was caught by police driving an unregistered and uninsured Nissan wagon on the Princes Highway on November 5
He was arrested again on December 11 after confronting the woman, and was charged with twice kicking the side of her car causing considerable panel damage.
He pleaded guilty to stalking, damaging property and contravening an apprehended violence order.
He did not apply for bail, which was formally refused, and will reappear in court in September.
