The first port of call for the St John the Evangelist Catholic High School Nowra alumna was at the Royal Selangor Golf Club, Malaysia, where she finished sixth at the RSGC Ladies Amateur Open Championship, from August 2-4.
Bennett then backed it up with a second-place finish at the Malaysian Ladies Amateur at the Resort World Awana Golf Club (August 7-9) and a fifth at the Indonesian Amateur at Gading Raya Golf Club (August 13-16).
"I played strongly in all three tournaments," Bennett said.
"In the Malaysian Ladies Amateur, I was leading by one shot going into the last day and had a couple of holes that threw me out, which caused me to come second by two shots but I was extremely happy to have had the lead going into the last round.
"The Malaysian Ladies Amateur was where I played my most complete golf but overall I believe I played solid across all of the events."
Although Bennett, who steered NSW to back-to-back Interstate Series titles in May, has taken plenty of positives away from her time abroad.
"The biggest thing I've taken away from this experience would be believing in myself to know that I can do it - I just need to keep trusting my swing and practising hard and a big win will happen," she said.
"In particular, my accuracy with my wedges would be the biggest thing that I need to improve on.
"Coming into the greens and being able to get it close to the hole is where you score and can take advantage."
The 19-year-old has already seen these improvements translate to strong results on the national scene.
"I recently played in the Queensland Amateur and finished 12th in the stroke play, before making it to the semi-finals in the match play," she said.
"This is the highest I've finished in a state amateur event, so I was pretty stoked with that."
Next up for Bennett is the Dunes Medal from November 26-29.
