One of the most popular weekend events on the NSW South Coast, Escape ARTfest returns to Milton-Ulladulla with four creative and arts filled days, including hands-on workshops, exhibitions, artist talks, performers and music events.

The festival begins with the Milton Gallery walk at 6pm on Thursday, October 10.
The free, family-friendly, event promises to be as fun as ever for locals and visitors alike, celebrating the South Coast's creative community and encouraging all ages to join in the festival atmosphere.
Sixteen exhibitors, including individuals and local art or photography groups, will display their works at various shops and venues in Milton. Live music by Joby Hendricks, May Holstegge and Leon Holstegge will be at Harvest Bar, Milton. The Jazz Barry Trio will kick-off the after party at Harvest Bar from 8pm.
Local and Shoalhaven-based artists will display their works at the Dunn Lewis Centre from 10am to 4pm on Friday, October 11. You'll see stunning photography, beautiful landscapes, colourful abstract paintings.
Abstracted Reflections Exhibition will be held at the Ulladulla Civic Centre at the same time. Following the exhibition the winners of the Escape ARTfest Prize and the Emerging Artist Art Prize will be presented at the Civic Centre at 4pm.
The winning entrant of the Escape ARTfest prize will receive $4,000 and the emerging artist will receive $1,000. You will also be able to view all the entries at the Civic Centre.
Over the course of the festival respected Australian street artist Man.De will paint the wall of Rowan's Arcade. Funds have been raised by sponsors and residents towards the $4,000 needed to beautify the area.
Other highlights include The Milton Muse on Friday, October 11, from 6pm to 9pm, at Harvest Bar, Milton.
Open studios from Termeil to Lake Conjola, Mollymook and Croobyar on Saturday and Sunday.
The Artists' Talk; An afternoon of laughter and insights as Sally Seltmann, Fernanda O'Connell and Andrew Antoniou talk about art, music and life, hosted by Bernard Zuel on Saturday, October 12, 4pm to 5.30pm at Bannisters Pavilion, Mollymook. Tickets $25.
The Escape ARTfest Art Market: Saturday, October 12, from 10am at the Civic Centre and Café, Ulladulla. Explore more than 25 artisan stalls, free creative workshops for children, an exhibition of threatened species by 15 local wildlife photographers and enjoy the sausage sizzle from the local Apex Club.
