Peter Percy is hosting the opening of his exhibition Out of the Ordinary at 36 Parkinson Street, Narrawallee.
Every piece is made from recycled gear with about 90 per cent from the recycling centre at the Ulladulla Waste Depot, Mr Percy said.
The material comprises wood, metal, stone and plastic.
"All the material has a story."
He also loves to visit second-hand shops around Milton-Ulladulla and sometimes sees parts of pieces thrown in bushland.
"You've just got to look around," he said.
"You see stuff and you've got get it."

The pieces range from small to medium sized sculptures either hanging on a wall or atop counters in his exhibition room. Some are of scenes and others are of people, places and things.
To make the works Mr Percy finds items and generally leaves them about for a few months. And that's when the idea strikes.
"I put pieces aside so I can see them and six months later and it clicks."
