On Sunday, Cupitt's Winery hosted a local band Brothers accompanied by great food and wine to raise money for the Milton RFS.
The busy long weekend's are an opportunity for Cupitt's to raise money for local charities.
"Cupitt's experiences a high influx of visitors every long weekend so we decided to ensure that guests have a good experience we need to control the number of visitors to Cupitt's. This presented an opportunity to raise money for local charities and people in need. We selected Milton Rural Fire Service as these brave and dedicated men and women are partially self-funded and do an amazing job keeping our community safe."
Sunday's event raised a total of $6478.05.
Milton RFS Community Engagement Officer Annette Stevens said the unit was extremely grateful for the fundraising efforts.
"All monies raised will be used to purchase vital fire-fighting equipment which will improve the capability of our volunteers to serve the community."
The Milton RFS volunteers came out to the event and helped out with parking. Kids enjoyed photographs with the fire engine and could personally meet the volunteers and chat with them about what they do.
Libby Cupitt echoes the comments.
"Thank you to the customers for supporting the event, the staff at Cupitt's for a great day and Brothers Band for putting on a great show".
The next fundraiser for Cupitt's will be Sunday, December 29 raising money for the Mollymook Surf Life Saving Club. Tickets are on sale now through the Cupitt's website.
