On his run to the semi-final Tom overcame an opponent with a lot more experience than himself in the first round before then taking out the fourth seed in the quarter-final.
Tom struck the tournament second seed in the semi-final and played strongly to a narrow 5-7 4-6 defeat.
The results will push Tom's ranking up from his current career high of 2476 achieved after his last tournament at Parramatta.
Will Hatcher-Nee also had some success at Batemans Bay.
Although losing his first round main draw match, Will recovered to win through to the final of the 12 and under boys singles consolation draw where he then recorded a 4-6 4-6 loss in a very tight affair.
Also representing Ulladulla at the Batemans Bay Junior Championships was Keitara Matthews who played in the 12 and under Girls event.
In just her second Australian Ranking tournament Keitara came up against the second seed in her first main draw match and although recording a 0-6 0-6 result Keitara at times threatened in the match which was a lot closer than the scoreboard indicated.
Keitara fought hard in her consolation draw match unluckily losing 4-6 5-7 and coming away all the better for the experience.
