The Minor Consistency final was played last week between Di Field and Denise Hayes.
The weather was fine for the spectators and the game was fairly even for the first 8 ends.
As the game continued Di got in her stride and ended up winning the match.
Congratulations to both players for making the final and especially Di who is the Minor Consistency Champion for 2019.

Lastly, please be aware of the fire escape when leaving your bags outside, this door need to be clear at all times, your co-operation with this matter would be very much appreciated.

October 31: Beautiful Day for the semis of the Club Fours, some wonderful bowls were on display, unfortunately there could only be two winners.
The team of Trudy, Bonnie, Robyn and Shauna got off to a great start but the experience of Liz, Jo, Jeane and Ros shone through in the second half of the game and came out the winners.
In the second game it was neck and neck between Kath and Jan's teams up until the half way point where Kath's team managed to score a 5 and Jan's team couldn't catch them.
Great work to the winners.
Next Thursday 7th November will be the final between Carmen Colusso, Daphne Menzies, Di Rupp and Kath Fraser against Liz Wootton, Jo Cattley, Jeane Thompson and Ros Jamieson. Good luck to both teams, will be a great game to watch.

The Alf Green H'cap pairs competition has really hotted up this week with the semi-finals looming, and the pressure increasing as players strive to hold onto their handicap advantage, while the low handicappers battle to make up the difference.
Over the week we saw Harvey Wootton def. Stan Croker, Alan Clark bowled so well to defeat Brad Patterson, Graeme Carriage had a win over Dennis Ogilvie, Clayton King was victorious over the Angry Ant, and Mike Frame managed to hang on in the last few ends to beat Mick Duprez in a very tight game.
Now, for those members playing in the club challenge this weekend which will only be the blue teams at either S.G.B. or Shoalhaven Heads, please organise with your team members your travel arrangements and make sure all six players know what's going on.
Good luck to all teams, the gold team plays a week later at Kiama.
The presentation night is coming up on Sat. 23rd Nov., don't miss out, get your seat booked at the front desk and have a great night.
Next year's club fours entry is up on the board already, so start to organise your teams; also on the district board (which is around the corner closer to the locker rooms), entry forms for the district fours, senior fours and reserve fours are up and it would be great to get a few entries into all of these.

Mollymook Men
CHAMPIONSHIPS: The final of the Ken Dwyer memorial Pairs was played last Friday morning.
Gary McGuire, ably assisted by a true veteran (an octogenarian) Kerry Jones beat a couple of "youngsters" Ray Flinn & Eric Woodburn in a 2 nil tie-break.
This is another impressive win to Gary, who has had a very good year.
The final of the Mixed Triples scheduled for last Sunday has been re-scheduled for next Sunday because of some missing persons down south for the "race that stops the Nation" & the bowls.
An early reminder: The annual North versus South battle followed by the Presentation Day luncheon is scheduled for Sat 7th December. The sheet is on the board.
SOCIAL: Wednesday saw five rinks of three bowl triples & two rinks of pairs enjoy the afternoon.
Winners of the lucky rink $20 vouchers were Krusty, Whitey & Pop by just one shot over Jack, Scoop & Craig. Lucky losers were Pres.Brian, Omar & Croc.
NOTE: from today until Pennants commence two bowl Triples x 25 ends will be the norm on Wednesdays in order to sharpen up our pennants teams & all of us really.
However three bowl triples will still be played on the monthly Nominated Triples/barbecue Wednesday.
Friday's Open Pairs was a snug affair with nine rinks on #1 green in play, including the above reported Vet Pairs final. The jackpot was not won. The weekly $120 prize was eventually won by Terry HIll & Croc Dundas with 8 points, after an elimination draw against three over teams with 8 points. Marks HB SHOUT went to Wallie & Harro & to Joe & Bob from M-U the $15 KENO voucher. They deserved better as they had a resounding 40/14 win over a local pair.
