North Nowra Public School, Vincentia High School, Vincentia Public School, Huskisson Public School, Sanctuary Point Public School, Callala Public School, Bomaderry High School, Bomaderry Public School and St Georges Basin Public School will also be closed tomorrow (Tuesday, 12) because of the catastrophic fire danger.
St John The Evangelist Catholic High School, Nowra, St Michael's Nowra, St Mary's Milton, Falls Creek, Illaroo Road, Sussex Inlet, Milton Public, Shoalhaven High School and Nowra Anglican College will all be closed tomorrow (Tuesday) after NSW Rural Fire Service fire advisory warning for catastrophic fire conditions.
St John's and St Michael's made the announcement on its Facebook page around 2.20pm on Monday, November 11, as did Falls Creek Public, while parents at Illaroo Road were also notified of the pending closure.
The St John's post said following the NSW RFS' advisory warning for catastrophic fire conditions on Tuesday, November 12, Director of Schools Peter Turner together with Principal Sandra Hogan have made the decision to formally close the school for the day.
"This decision has been made as a precautionary step with regard to the safety of the students and staff of our school and is based on the information and advice we have received," the post said.

"The decision takes into consideration the particular environment in which our school is situated and the travel arrangements that a number of students and staff have in getting to and from school.
"We ask parents/carers to make arrangements for their children so that they can be cared for by a responsible adult for the day."
The Year 7 2020 parent information session will still be held this evening (Monday), however, Tuesday's student orientation day has been rescheduled for Monday, November 18.
Falls Creek principal Bernadette Horneman said the school had made the same decision after being requested by the RFS that school will not operate on Tuesday, to ensure the safety of students and staff.
"Our school has been identified at increased risk if a bushfire were to break out based on 'catastrophic fire danger' ratings in area," she said.
There will be no staff on-site tomorrow and parents are asked to make appropriate arrangements for their children.
She said it was planned our child school operations would resume on Wednesday, November 13. Please contact the school on 44478243 if you would like any further information about this matter.
St Michael's principal Christopher Paton said after consultation with the Director of Schools, Peter Turner, a decision was made to formally close the school for Tuesday due to the catastrophic fire conditions warnings.
"The decision has been made as a precautionary step with regard to the safety of the students and staff of our school and is based on the information and advice we have received," the statement said.
The school will be closed tomorrow and parents/carers are asked to make arrangements for their children so that they can be cared for by a responsible adult for the day.
Nowra Anglican College, which includes Bomaderry Community Preschool will also be closed tomorrow, Tuesday.
