On Friday, November 29, protesters will sit shoulder-to-shoulder in solidarity to demand increased support for Indigenous land management, the Rural Fire Service and real climate action.
The sit-down follows major protests held this year, including an event in September where hundreds of residents marched along the Princes Highway in Ulladulla to demand action on climate change.
Demands of the group include no new coal, oil and gas projects, 100 per cent renewable energy and exports by 2030 and funding for a "just transition" for employees of the fossil fuel industry and surrounding communities.
A sit-down will be held on the lawns of the Ulladulla Civic Centre from 12pm to 1pm.
