NSW Interbranch referee Michael Bate said he's looking forward to the event and a big weekend of racing.

"The calibre is so high across every discipline and it really sets the bar for the athletes ahead of our country, state and Australian championships."
In 2019, there will be individual events (beach flags, beach sprint, surf race, board race, ski race, ironman and ironwoman), teams events (surf teams, board teams, ski teams and iron team) and relay events (rescue tube rescue, beach relay, board rescue relay, cameron and taplin relay) - with the Branch with the highest aggregate of points at the conclusion of the competition being declared the winner.
