Keeping food and water up to the firefighters is important and a special NSW Fire and Rescue Rehabilitation van was stationed in Lake Tabourie today (Wednesday).
The "rebab van" gives the firefighters on the ground access to food and water.
The Moruya based van has fans to help cool the firefighters down and heaters if they are working in cold conditions.
The NSW Fire and Rescue firefighters have been fighting the fires alongside their RFS brothers.
They have also been joined by teams from the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
The team from Fire and Rescue NSW Station 477 Ulladulla have been working under extremely testing conditions.
The firefighters from Fire and Rescue NSW Station 477 Ulladulla, despite the tough conditions, have managed to save loads of properties.
