All the spectacular action of rodeo will return to the Shoalhaven on Sunday, December 29 with the annual Nowra Rodeo to be held.

The Nowra Rodeo Association event will be held at Worrigee Equestrian Common, off Worrigee Road.
Gates open from noon with the first events starting at 3pm and timed to finish approximately at 10pm.
Twelve events are on the schedule including the ever-popular and spectacular bull rides.
And competitors will certainly be put to the test, with stock provided by George Hempenstall, a PBR contractor, who boasts multiple Bull of the Year awards.
Competitors will also take part in barrel racing, saddle bronc, bareback and steer rides.
Horses will be supplied by Rick Wilson and steers supplied locally by the Cochrane family.

More than 100 competitors are entered across all events.
Nowra Rodeo Association spokesperson Glenn Tyson said the event had again gained some great backing from a number of local businesses to ensure it is a success.
Entry is $20 adult (17 years+), children $10 (six years-17), family is $50 (two adults and two children).
There will also be plenty of on-site parking.
