In news sure to add to the festive season joy, hilarious Aussie comedy legend Jimeoin is returning to the South Coast with his latest show, Ramble On!
Jimeoin has been a regular visitor to the region with New Year shows for a number of years.
And rather than relaxing over the holiday period, one of the world's funniest men will be hitting the road again for a busy string of East Coast dates.
On January 2, he will be at the Narooma Golf Club, then Batemans Bay Soliders Club on January 3, MIlton-Ulladulla Ex-Servces Club on January 4 and the Fraternity Club Fairy Meadow on January 5.
The Ramble On! tour continues along the coast to Noosa and Tweed Heads throughout January.
"I love the Great Dividing Range, I'm driving along it over the summer months,"Jimeoin told Australian Community Media.
"I go from Melbourne all the way to Hervey Bay and the road is really coming along. You are doing a lot of work to it.
"I feel like it for me, there is a lot to like about the region. It's God's country."
At the end of the day it's not that complicated. Just be funny.

As for what keeps bringing him back to the Far South Coast - is it the great response from crowds? Great fish and chips? Both?
"I've had nice oysters If that counts. People have always been good. People want a night out on the holidays I think."
Jimeoin has been a staple of the international comedy scene for decades, but remains humble as to the secret to his long success.
"Who knows? I would like to think that I was funny. Yeah that is it.
"At the end of the day it's not that complicated. Just be funny.
"I've been touring for 30 years now and I do about 200 gigs a year. Maybe that is part of it. That is a big part of it.
"You can't practice stand up. You just have to do loads and loads and loads and that's what makes you good."
Some of Jimeoin's funniest material comes from the simplest of ideas - making a cup of tea, or expressive eyebrows.
"Yeah those are the things that make me laugh. I'm not going to do stuff about politics or Trump. I don't like him because he's an orange man. That joke gets a big laugh in Ireland."
So what can audiences expect from his latest show?
"Ramble On! is just as the title suggests. You will be none the wiser at the end of all. It's just a laugh; I give myself a hard time more than anybody else.
"Come see the show. You will enjoy it. What more can I say. Well I can't say a lot more but I will do that on the night of the show."
