Below is information being circulated to residents over the coming days.
The Currowan and Tianjara fires merged on Sunday, December 22. The fire is burning between Batemans Bay in the South, Nowra in the North, and East of Braidwood. The fire is more than 231,350 hectares and is out of control.
Crews are taking advantage of more favourable weather to assist with containment. However weather conditions are expected to worsen in the coming days, with extreme fire weather expected between Sunday December 29 - Wednesday, January 1.
Specific Advice
Bamarang, Burrier, Bugong, Budgong, Longreach, Nowra Hill, Illaroo, Tapitalee and Cambewarra.
Residents in these areas should be aware with the lack of forecast rain and any breaches of containment lines, these areas are likely to be impacted by fire.
Residents in these areas should take steps to prepare their properties ahead of the worsening conditions in the coming days.

Regularly monitor conditions, and know what you will do if threatened by fire.
If you are threatened by fire:
Do not be in the path of the fire. Protect yourself from the heat of the fire. Wear protective clothing and footwear. Cover all exposed skin. If the fire impacts, seek shelter in a solid structure to protect yourself from the heat of the fire. If your life is at risk, call Triple Zero (000). If you are in an area that has already been affected by fire, there may be small areas of active fire burning for some time. Be aware of the dangers of trees and branches falling.

People with respiratory conditions who are affected by bush fire smoke should activate their health management plan and seek medical advice if necessary. Take precautions, such as staying indoors and closing windows.
