Star Giants' players Sam Reid, Adam Kennedy and Jacob Hopper this Sunday will attend a community barbecue and have a kick-to-kick with their fans at the Lake Conjola Community Centre from 12.30pm.
The players have reached out to the community to generously offer their time to come down to the South Coast during their mini break from training over the long weekend to assist in the bushfire recovery.
They will spend the morning helping out on the ground with the clean-up and recovery before heading to the Community Centre for a barbecue, kick and chat for a couple of hours with the local community.
It's a great opportunity, in particular for the children, to have a bit of fun and think about something else for a little while.
There will be food, footies and the Giants' inflatable cube will be all part of the fun.
So get your friends and family along to enjoy the afternoon.
