The east coast low produced the biggest rainfall the area has seen since June 2019, when 186.4mm was recorded for the month at the Ulladulla Area Weather Station.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology's weather data, the last time more than 200mm of rainfall was recorded in a month in Ulladulla was in February 2018.
In 24 hours to 9am on Monday, 121.6mm had fallen. More than 100mm hasn't fallen in a day since March 17, 2017.
Blackwater and Mollymoke Farm Creeks spilled into the ocean and a boat was left stranded near the entry of Millards Creek in Ulladulla Harbour. It appeared to break from its anchor.
On Sunday, families and teenagers put on their wetsuits and enjoyed the age-old tradition of sliding down the steep fairways of Mollymook Golf Club on their bodyboards during heavy rain events.
