Coordinator Di Riley said: "Online registration is open and we encourage all buskers from NSW, the ACT and north eastern Victoria to come to Narooma."
Narooma Rotary is hosting the event, part of the Australian National Busking Championships.
"This is Narooma's fourth Busking Championships," Ms Riley said.
"Our community has really embraced this event; the town buzzes from the Flat to the Plaza and music fills the air, making it a really happy occasion.
"It also boosts local businesses because it brings people to Narooma from across south eastern NSW and the ACT at a traditionally quiet time of year, a boost that's needed more than ever this year after the recent fires."
Ms Riley said last year's festival was a great success, with 48 buskers from a wide area.
"We're hoping for even more this year to compete for what we anticipate will be about $10,000 in prize money from our wonderful sponsors," she said.
Last year, championships instigator Alan Spencer of Cooma described the Narooma event as "first class, one of the best in Australia".
"Each year it's becoming more professional both in the way it's run and in the standard of performers," he said.
"A lot of these buskers even in high school are now getting gigs and that's showing in their growing professionalism."
Regional winners will be invited to compete in the National Grand Final in Cooma in November.
