Milton Show president Ken Leslie says everything is on track for a great show, despite the tricky lead-up with all the extreme conditions the region has had to survive
The theme of the 151st Milton Show is Capturing Country Life.
"We feel this gives the whole community the opportunity to reminded of all the aspects of where we live, and how lucky we are," he said.
"We encourage everyone to have a go, there are many categories including art, photography, quilting, cooking and bonsai to name a few.
"We have seen many people surprise themselves at their results, lots of males do well in the chutney, pickles category. It all gets fairly competitive and lots of fun.
Entries for under 18 years is free in all suitable categories - spruce up the family pet, cat, dog, rooster, mouse, guinea pig, lizard whatever.
"We often hear first timers to the show express their amazement at the range and quality of all the exhibits," Mr Leslie said.
