With COVID-19 restrictions on regional travel set to be lifted on June 1, we can expect a much needed boost to the local economy. However, we should still remain vigilant. The last thing we want is a spike in infections after all the good work that's been done.
It's been pleasing to see signs of life returning to Ulladulla's CBD and interesting to learn how businesses, including the Mollymook Golf Club, have coped during the lockdown. With foreign travel off the agenda for the foreseeable future, we could be in for a summer boom.
