Following the NSW government's recent announcement allowing all senior sport to resume from July 1, the Shoalhaven District Football Association has gotten on the front foot to start planning their 2020 competitions - after it was derailed by the coronavirus pandemic.
Australian Community Media understands all three senior men's competitions will start on July 4, with a draw expected to be released in the coming days, after the SDFA confirm nominations.
They will each involve a 10-team draw (first and second grade have nine teams, with only thirds having 10 teams), of nine rounds per grade, leading into the finals campaign - which will start on September 5 before grand final day two weeks later (September 19).
The Tuesday women's competition, which saw Illaroo achieve a perfect season in 2019, will have three grades of six teams.
All women's teams will complete two full rounds (10 games) including one double-header round, likely to be played prior to over 35s on a Thursday night - before finals start on September 5.
Due to the condensed draw, all rained out fixtures will be moved to Ison Park, to ensure all fixtures are played prior to finals.
