Legendary Australian comedians Paul Livingston (Flacco) and Steve Abbott (The Sandman) have sent the Manyana Matters group a video message of support.
As expected with these two - their message is twinged with humour.
However, their message, the need to save this block of land, is the same as other celebrities.
So far author Markus Zusak, filmmaker/ actor Damon Gameau and actress Claudia Karvan have all come out to support the Mayana Matters campaign.
Zusak, "a passionate South Coast lover," asks - "how do we want to be remembered by this campaign?'"
"We all know what happened last summer. Men and women risked their lives to save pockets of land," he added.
Gameau talks about the reasons why the vital piece of land the group is trying to save should be protected.
"So if we can create change at this local level we can show other people how it's done," he said.
It's still unclear what is going to happen in the future in regards to this piece of land.
