One of the main reasons to smile was their event, held at the Dunn and Lewis Centre, was one of their first gatherings in these COVID-19 times.
Another reason they were all feeling great was history was made on the night and Leonie Smith became the club's first female president in the club's 60-year existence.
The changeover gave the club the chance to acknowledge all their dedicated volunteers and some were presented with special awards on the night.

Rotarian Avril Pryor was awarded Rotarian of the Year for her outstanding contributions during the bushfires last summer.
She made Club history by being the first Rotarian to receive this award in their first year.
Rotarian Grant Schultz was awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship. Grant was recognised for his efforts coordinating the donations at the Milton Showground during the harrowing Currowan fires.
Matt Dell (Apex member) was awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship for his unwavering support of the local community over many many years.
Matt is at the heart of many local events and his commitment to the local community is nothing short of awe-inspiring.
Joining President Smith on the board is Vice Presidents Wayne Fry and Phil Brown, Secretary Dale Wilford, Youth Director Avril Pryor, Treasurer Keith Bennett, Community Services Director Yvonne Young, Vocational Services Director Bernard Jones and International Director Grant Schultz.
