In Ulladulla, we've seen signs of the COVID threat with the expansion of the testing clinic as people rush to see if they've been infected. Meeting increased demand for sterilisation at the Ulladulla Endoscopy and Medical Centre, staff member Elizabeth Grist has just completed a TAFE Sterilisation Services course. Also no doubt keeping an eye on COVID is Meilton medical student Mitchum Bower, who has just received a scholarship to help with his studies.
With all eyes on the border - and the toilet roll aisles in the supermarket - it was a relief to hear the reassurance from Woolworths that the supply chain would not be affected by the closure. So, no need to panic buy.
Finally, the community will farewell Zoie Bell on Monday at the Ulladulla Sports Park [the Australian Football ground], Camden Street, Ulladulla from 11am. People attending have been asked to wear a hoodie as a tribute to the teenager.
