In the past 24-hours, the group has responded to 194 requests for help.
Help is coming to the local groups way with volunteers from Yass and Sydney helping out with jobs.
The unit reports that the area has had 345mm of rain since the start of this event.
All eyes will be on the next high tide which is expected to arrive at approximately 2 pm.
"We have sandbags available for you to fill and use at the headquarters in Camden Street for those of who can self-help," a SES spokesperson said.
" If you need our assistance please call 132 500 and be patient - they are busy too.
"There is still lots of water everywhere - if it's flooded forget it! Watch for debris. Be safe out there."
Meanwhile, the storm from an east coast low has caused 14500 homes in the Shoalhaven to lose power.
Endeavour Energy crews are working to restore power to Shoalhaven homes and businesses.
The main areas where homes have lost power include Sanctuary Point (1821 homes), Mollymook Beach (1573), Ulladulla (1030), Sussex Inlet (1030), Burrill Lake (1004), Narrawallee (990), Mollymook (918), Bawley Point (800), Milton (764), Manyana (731), Erowal Bay (464), Lake Conjola (428), Berrara (376), Kioloa (326), Fishermans Paradise (305), Cudmirrah (248), Dolphin Point (196), St Georges Basin (185), Cunjurong Point (176) and Bendalong (170).
