NOW seriously why would anyone want to steal from an 80-year-old grandmother?
Someone recently stole a Buddha statue, in Ulladulla's Red Gum area, over the past few days.
It was one of matching pair taken from a front yard.
The act has upset the 80-year-old and her family.
"It was one of a matching pair and this has made my grandmother extremely upset," a family member said.
"She's been collecting Buddhas over the last few months to put in our front garden.
"This [the theft] has really demotivated her."
The local grandmother loved her Buddha statue.
The family hopes someone saw the incident or knows where the statue is.
"If it was found and returned you would make my grandmother a very happy lady," the family member said.
"It's not like some super expensive Buddha statue but it has much sentimental value to my grandmother."
