Local resident, Maureen Gray, recently contacted the Milton Ulladulla Times because she wanted to publicly acknowledge the efforts of a garbage truck driver who went way above the call of duty.
"I would like to thank the garbage truck driver who got out of his cab countless times in the pouring rain on Monday in Oxley Crescent Mollymook and stood up all the bins that had been blown over so they could be emptied," she said.
"A truly thoughtful act and one that was much appreciated."

Many other people noticed the efforts of what could have possibly been the same garbage truck operator or his colleagues.
"Good on you mate -.not many people would do that...you're a legend," one resident said.
"We sure do need to acknowledge these guys; they need to know how much they are appreciated," another resident added.
Well done guys keep up the good work.
