An elderly man from Bawley Point has been flown away in an ambulance helicopter after he injured himself in the face with a chainsaw.

The 74-year-old suffered facial lacerations and is in a stable condition.
He has been taken to Canberra Hospital for treatment.
Ambulance Media were unsure what the man was doing at the time when the chainsaw cut his face but the accident happened in the man's backyard.
A rescue helicopter was called to assist due to the remote location of the incident.
The man is conscious and breathing and the rescue helicopter was in a position to provide blood if needed.
