The volunteers did an impressive job in trying circumstances.
"This has been the biggest storm event for Ulladulla SES since the 2010 Father's Day storms," an Ulladulla SES spokesperson said.
The severe weather pattern started to hit the region from Monday, July 27 and it was a case of all hands on deck.
The SES received close to 300 calls for help during the past week.
"Ulladulla SES volunteers, spontaneous volunteers along with help from metropolitan SES volunteers, Rural Fire Service and NSW Fire and Rescue responded to 286 requests for assistance over the last week," the spokesperson said.
"A total of 90 per cent of jobs were storm-related with 10 per cent relating to flooding.
"We thank the community for their patience as we worked through the list of jobs.
"We are happy to say they have now been completed thanks to many hours spent on the ground and on roofs for our tireless volunteers."
During the peak of the storm, 149mm fell in the Ulladulla region, which was one of the highest levels in the Shoalhaven.
Meanwhile, it appears the region is facing another storm front with more rain predicted on Friday and into the weekend.
Friday's possible rainfall is 15 to 35 mm, Saturday's is 40 to 60 mm and Sunday's is 15 to 45 mm.
The good news is that the SES will be ready to assist the community if needed.
