Bega MP Andrew Constance said it was great to see the opportunity for those with disability to be involved in the $274 million Batemans Bay project.
"Yumaro employees have worked hard to provide sandbags that are being used as weights for traffic signs, mitigating site erosion, and providing sediment control for the project," Mr Constance said.
"This is a great initiative for people with disability, as it has provided them with work which significantly contributes to the on-time delivery of the new bridge."
South Coast MP Shelley Hancock welcomed the news an Ulladulla group could help the neighbouring electorate.

"This project will make a real difference to the everyday lives of locals once complete, but already during construction we're seeing locals from all walks of life getting involved," Mrs Hancock said.
"I'd like to thank the Yumaro employees for playing an important role on our project."
Yumaro Ulladulla site manager Vicki Turay said Batemans Bay Bridge replacement project contractor John Holland was a supportive partner.
"The employees were excited to work on the project, and we're appreciative of this opportunity to provide work for local people with disability," Ms Turay said.
Yumaro is a local NDIS service provider offering employment, training, lifestyle, accommodation and home and community support services to people with permanent disability in the Eurobodalla and Shoalhaven regions.
"Our enterprises include: cardboard and plastics collection and recycling; cleaning cloth production for Bunnings Australia; wholesale and retail plant nursery; grounds maintenance; survey peg manufacture; secure document destruction; screen printing and a range of other light manufacturing programs," the service said.
The Batemans Bay Bridge project is due to be completed in early 2023.
