We've heading for a rainy weekend so it's reassuring to know the SES is ready to help in the event it gets really bad. Let's hope it doesn't come to that. That rain will probably keep our Landcare volunteers indoors, enjoying a rest from all the hard work they do - work singled out for praise this week. But dogs will probably be restless as they're kept inside. That might slow the cash rolling into council coffers from pet fines.
Have a warm and safe weekend, everyone.
