Since 9am on Friday, Nowra has experienced 132.8mm, Shellharbour 83mm, Kiama 76.2mm and Ulladulla 47.6mm.
As a result, on Saturday morning, Group Seven Senior Rugby League announced all of their games, including their four first grade fixtures, were being rescheduled - with all of round three's games now taking place on the weekend of September 25-27.
"Unfortunately the senior competition for this weekend is postponed," Group Seven operations manager Debbie Rowley said in a statement.
"The season will now go for an extra week and this weekend's games will now be played as the last round - meaning the grand final will now be played on October 25.
"We have had no choice to call this weekend off, as Michael Cronin Oval and Bill Andriske Oval are closed - with Nowra close to being the same with roads flooded."
This announcement follows the Group Seven Juniors decision to all junior games on Friday, including the merged ones.
Rain has also seen all round four AFL South Coast matches cancelled due to ground closures.
Other competitions that will be stuck on the sidelines this weekend because of the wet include the Illawarra Baseball League, Shoalhaven Netball Association, Shoalhaven Hockey, Shoalhaven District Junior Football Association and Shoalhaven District Football Association - who's round six fixtures will now be played on Sunday, August 23 as part of a double-header weekend.
