In more good news, Ex Servos Club staff members have been tested for COVID-19, and the results returned so far have been negative.
Club manager Darryl Bozicevic just sent the Milton Ulladulla Times the following startment.
"As we advised in previous posts, the club closed its doors as a precautionary measure after being notified by NSW Health on Saturday evening of September 19 that someone who tested positive for COVID-19 visited the club on Saturday, September 12 between 2pm and 6.15pm," Mr Bozicevic said in a statement.
"The club closure was not a directive; the club decided to close in the interest of club patrons, staff and the community; to allow for our staff to be tested and for the club to undergo a deep clean, before we reopened.
"Full contact tracing details were immediately provided to NSW Health, who have contacted those patrons and staff affected.
"NSW Health has advised that the person visited the TAB area, Sports Bar and Main Lounge of the club. Anyone who was in those areas of the club for more than one hour during the times listed above is considered a close contact and have been advised by NSW Health to get tested immediately and isolate for 14 days as of the September 12 .
"A deep clean of the club has now been undertaken."
Mr Bozicevic said staff members had been given the all-clear.
"Ex Servos Club staff members have been tested for COVID-19, and the results returned so far have been negative," he said.
"Staff who were present in the areas and times mentioned above are also isolating for 14 days from Saturday, 12 September 12.
:All staff that are returning to work are those who were not considered close contacts but have still been tested and returned a negative result."
The club will continue with its CovidSAFE plan.
"The club has been operating under a robust CovidSAFE plan and is maintaining a digital contact register, has dedicated CovidSAFE marshals to enforce social distancing, is providing hand sanitiser throughout the premises, and is implementing regular intensive cleaning practices, " Mr Bozicevic said.
"A NSW Health representative has visited the club and is more than satisfied with the Club's CovidSAFE plan and the procedures we've implemented.
"Many thanks to our members and visitors for adhering to these procedures and following staff directives; this certainly makes our job of keeping everyone safe a lot easier.
"Once again, I'd also like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for your positive messages of support; it's greatly appreciated by the ExServos team.
"We will continue to work hard to maintain a safe environment for our members, guests and staff, and look forward to welcoming you back into our venue."
