POLICE FINES

* 175 fines issue in the past 24 hours, including 23 for failing to wear a face covering, 13 at vehicle checkpoints and 55 for curfew breaches

RESTRICTIONS

* Melbourne's night time curfew lifted at 5am on Monday

* As of 11.59pm on Sunday, a number of restrictions have been eased, allowing about 127,000 workers to return to on-site work.

* Child care to open for all kids. No permit is required and there are no distance limits

* The two-hour exercise limit within five kilometres remains but can now be taken near workplaces as well as homes

* A household, or maximum of five people from no more than two households, will be able to gather outside

* Outdoor pools can reopen

* The limit on one person from each household going shopping just once a day will be lifted
