It's a sign of better days ahead, surely.
The people of NSW and the ACT can rejoice in the news that the almost mandatory weekend trip to Bunnings will soon be complete again - sausage sizzles are coming back.
Banned across the country due to the coronavirus, the sausage sizzle will return to the nation's capital this weekend. In NSW you'll have to contain your excitement for a week.
Bunnings chief operating officer Deb Poole told 2GB Radio's Ben Fordham: "We are really, really excited to announce that our Bunnings sausage sizzle is back.
"It means so much to so many people. It supports a lot of community causes and raises a lot of money for the local community. It is loved."
There has been no announcement for Victoria which still has stricter restrictions in place.
Since the sausage sizzle was put on hold due to COVID, there will be extra safety measures in place.
"It's all about making sure everyone is safe," Ms Poole said. "There is extra hygiene and cleaning taking place, social distancing, and we'll be using the NSW app so customers can check in to make sure it's safe for the customers and the community."
Tasmania, the Northern Territory, Queensland, Western Australia and South Australia's Bunnings stores have enjoyed that barbecue smell since July.
