Held at Swansea Belmont, Williams, representing team Team Welborn (yellow cap), finished second in the female beach sprint, behind Grace Hewitt and third in the beach flags - being edged by Rampoldi sisters Alex and Leah.
Zustovich, who is part of Team Furniess (white cap), took out the male beach flags and finished sixth in the beach sprint - which was one position behind club mate Scrivener.
The latter, who's in Team Collins (red cap), also finished fourth in the beach flags.
The Mollymook trio also competed in the mixed beach relay and male and female taplin relays.
On the back of these results, Team Borg - led by ironman Jackson Borg and with Mollymook's Daniel Robberds as team manager - finished the day in first on the overall point score, with a total of 251.
"What a way to get the surf season started," Borg said.
"This has been a great initiative by Surf Life Saving NSW and I can't believe I've been given the opportunity to captain an epic side.
"Even though this is the first event of the season everyone has brought their A-game.
"The teams format is really exciting and a good idea to kick-off the season with everyone having a bit of fun while getting back into it.
"It's also a pretty awesome way to give the under 17 competitors a chance to compete against and with open's athletes."
Heading into round two of the Surf Lifesaving NSW series on November 7 at Bulli, Team Borg sits nine points ahead of second-placed Team Collins (242) - with Team Pierce (228), Team Smith (218), Team Welborn (215) and Team Furniss (205) just behind.
