Playing with four hours sleep in the tank and having travelled 1700 kilometres via three airports, Ann-Maree Kitchener won the gold medal coming in with 63 points.
Coming in second with nine hours sleep and a two kilometre trip to the golf course was Doreen Ralph with 66 points and third was Heather Stewart with 71 points.
Congratulations also to Karyn March and Vicki Hewitt with a competitive 72 points each.
This 2020 gold medal round won't be forgotten in a hurry as it will be the last ever round of 18 holes to be played at Beachside. Beachside will be marketed as a 9-hole course only from now on.
The 9- hole stableford competition played on the same day saw Jenny Bellingham coming in first with 18 points, Margaret Durkin and Joan Denahy coming in second and third with 16 points each. A field of 18 ladies competed in this competition.
